Some thoughts on our perspectives in this industry,

As professional tradesmen with a great deal of knowledge and experience we care about your home. We try our best to be clean and respectful, always bringing a pair of indoor shoes as well as cleaning up after ourselves at the conclusion of a repair.

As an independent appliance servicer, we are conscientious and highly skilled tradesmen. We have invested thousands of hours learning the basic skills, keeping up with the new models, and refining our craft in the field. As an appliance repair professional, we have to be excellent at investigating and problem solving in order to do our job well. And at a bare minimum, we are held to a federal standard. Appliance repair is a provincially and federally regulated industry that requires us to pass 3 provincial exams and 1 federal exam to work in this industry with the qualification as a Red Seal Journeyman Appliance Service Technician. After all we are in your homes daily, and our first priority above any other is making sure that the machine we have worked on is safe to use. If it is not, we will ensure it is deactivated. Not a popular choice at times, but essential to the safety of everyone.

Many times, someone calls us out for their washer or dryer and when we are partway through a repair, they ask if we do refrigerators, dishwashers, wall ovens, or gas cooktops. They will keep our card and call us months and years down the road.

In some cases, as a repair technician, we can help reduce the amount of aggravation that a broken appliance will cause. Consider the time and effort it takes to shop for a new appliance, wait for its delivery, remove the old one, and get the new one installed. In addition, certain appliances such as wall ovens, dishwashers, and gas appliances can be a bigger hassle to replace because they are connected to hard wired electrical, water, and gas lines. It takes your time, it takes your effort, and if you don’t have the specialized skills or tools required to install the new appliance to code, we recommend you call a qualified appliance service technician to install it for you.

We have always enjoyed repairing things. Bringing "life" back into a machine that without a repair is destined for the recycling bin. They are puzzles in their own way, and there is always a new way a user has unintentionally used a machine in such a way that it breaks ahead of its time. Many times, when a machine isn’t doing a specific task, is because one of the previous steps in the cycle that it performs to complete an overall task has not been completed.

We are always keeping an open mind and thinking of several possible failures each time we diagnose a machine that may be causing the symptom your machine is showing. We have found that being thorough with a proper diagnosis is the most important step in ensuring a proper repair of any appliance.
